About Me

Nearly a decade ago, I reached a tipping point. I had just had my third child and the pressure of postpartum recovery, minimal sleep, and family life had gotten to me. I found myself constantly losing it with my kids. I knew better but couldn’t seem to do better, no matter how hard I tried.
My longing to live more fully in alignment with my values set me on a path of self-discovery and healing that has led to more fulfilling relationships at home and in all areas of my life.
After spending the last ten years exploring what it means to stay true to yourself, I’ve drawn from a breadth of training, research, and practice to create an approach that helps people stay rooted in who they are instead of loosing themselves in reactive patterns.
One of the most motivating parts of this process is that our capacity to move out of reactivity and into connection is key to creating a more caring world — with less suffering and more wellbeing for all.
Curiosity, compassion, and a sense of humor are at the core of the work we will do together. Recognizing and respecting each person’s individuality and their interconnectedness helps me tailor my coaching approach to meet the specific needs of each person.
I am also committed to my own path of learning and transformation as both a human being and professional, with mentor coaches, therapists and teachers in my corner to help me continue to uncover and let go of my own conditioning.
In addition to coaching, I teach mindfulness and social emotional skills in schools. I am lucky to have worked with amazing nonprofits serving youth, including Girls with Grit, Girls Empowerment Network, and, currently, Amala Foundation.
My husband, Dave, and I have been married over 17 years and live with our three kids in Austin, Texas.
